“The team at KT OOSH have always made my children feel like family, which made the long hours they needed to be there that much easier for me, as they wanted to be there and would come home and talk about the team like it was their aunt. The holiday program was also great, and the activities were things my kids would like to do regardless of whether they were at KT OOSH – which made it an excellent holiday for them. I would recommend KT OOSH to any family at RHAC as it made being a working parent easier and reduced the guilt of my kids’ long hours at school, knowing it was like a second home and they were so well looked after.
There is nothing I would suggest being done differently. We left KT OOSH solely as the services were no longer needed, with a neighbour looking after the kids and taking them to after-school programs.

“I have found KT OOSH’s services to be of high standard. They provide my children with excellent educational experiences catered to their interests. They take the time to know the children and base their program around their needs and abilities. My children’s opinions are heard, respected, and reflected in their programs.
Their fees are reasonable and affordable, and they have taken into account the current financial situation everyone is in due to COVID and have simplified their administration processes to ensure they did not have to increase fees, even though I am sure they made a financial loss as a result. During COVID, they ensured my child’s safety, who had to continue attending due to our working status and remained open to meet the needs of my family and many others.
KT OOSH has open communication with their customers, informing us of any changes and updates, so I feel secure in leaving my child in their care and aware of what is happening at the centre at all times. While at the centre, my child is safe as they use effective supervision techniques and ensure they are staffed above recommended national regulations.
The meals they offer the children are nutritious, and they are provided with choices. They are encouraged to help clean up afterwards, instilling a good work ethic and a sense of responsibility, which I like.
KT OOSH has not only been an integral part of the community for many years now, but they have also supported the school’s P&C in many of their events, in particular the fetes, where they have offered their bus to help transport items back and forth between my home and the school and have volunteered their time to work at stalls and assist where needed.
I would highly recommend KT OOSH’s services remain available to the families of Ironbark Ridge Primary school and hope they are successful in their tender.”
