Early Bird Rates are available until 12.00 pm (Midday), Wednesday, 29th March 2023, so don’t hesitate as we have capped daily numbers.
All bookings for enrolled families to attend the April 2023 Vacation Care are booked via your “My Family Lounge” APP on your smartphone. Bookings via the APP are instant and based on availability, simple and easy. By making a booking now, you will secure the Early Bird Rates should you normally have your children attend vacation care.
PLEASE NOTE: Once a session is booked, it is instantly confirmed and payable (including any additional costs) regardless of attendance.
A lot of time and planning has to go into Vacation Care. This is why we are asking parents to book in early, as last-minute requests cannot always be accommodated due to purchasing/hiring of activities, staffing, and logistics.
Absences
Absences are payable, including any additional costs, regardless of attendance, and must be marked in advance via the “My Family Lounge” APP on your smartphone to avoid additional non-notification fees. All absences must be advised via the APP if your child is absent for a confirmed session by 10.00 am on the day they were due to attend. Excursion days notification is required by 8.30 am.
Excursions
Due to the increased cost of buses, KT OOSH has not programmed any excursions, and all incursions are flagged with a “RED” triangle stating the additional cost for the activity.
Enrolment
If you are not a currently enrolled family with our service, simply register via the “My Family Lounge” on our website homepage. Once registered, complete the enrolment process and contact Head Office via email to ensure it has come through and explain you would like to book for the upcoming Vacation Care. The last new enrolments accepted will be Monday, 27th March 2023.

Forgot Your Login?
If you are a currently enrolled family and do not remember your username for the “My Family Lounge” app, please contact the head office via the respective email. They will re-issue you with your username. DO NOT create a new account, which will affect your CCS entitlements. If you do not remember your password, simply enter your username and then click forgot password to generate a new one.
Vacation Care Hours
Strictly 7:00 am – 6:00 pm with late fees accruing after 6:00 pm. If you are running late, then please contact the centre directly to ensure a staff member can stay after 6:00 pm – as this is not always possible. Late fees apply at a rate of $15.00/five-minute increments/child, and if there is no advice you are running late, an additional non-notification charge of $17.50 will also apply.
Electronic Devices
Due to responses from our recent survey, all electronic devices, including DS, smartphones, iPads etc will not be allowed at the Centre for Vacation Care unless it is a designated device day and this is stated on the program. Device days have additional measures to control the privacy or extended time usage concerns.
Breakfast
During Vacation Care Periods, Breakfast is from 7:00 am – 8:00 am, with morning tea at approximately 9:30 am.
Children’s Daily Requirements
Please ensure you apply sunscreen to your child before or upon arrival at KT OOSH (even during winter). We also suggest a BACKPACK/BAG, a JACKET/JUMPER, HAT, CLOSED in SHOES & SOCKS (no thongs or sandals) and a DRINK BOTTLE. For Water Play Days, a change of clothes. towels and thongs should be included. Thongs can only be worn during water activities, and closed-in shoes should be placed back on after the activity.
